The Weekly Photo Challenge for this week is one shot, two ways.
In Senaatintori (Senate Square), there is one of the most iconic buildings of Helsinki’s skyline. The Helsingin tuomiokirkko (Helsinki Cathedral) is a magnificent structure, designed by Carl Ludvig Engel. He laid the first cornerstone on 25th June 1830 and the cathedral was finally consecrated 15th February 1852.
At first look, those stairs look easily conquerable right? But, once you get closer, they are very imposing – this second picture was taken from half-way up!
