Weekly Photo Challenge: My Neighbourhood

I’m sure by now you know where I live, right? I absolutely love my town, though I only realised these past 2 years just how much. And now that I love it, I will actually be sad to leave it next year. For those of you who have never been, here is a slice of what is on offer in my neighbourhood

Until next time …

  1. Great seeing these shots of Windsor. I served with the Grenadier Guards years ago, and have been on guard at Windsor. There is a non public post right at the end of the long walk, so from that post you would have the opposite view of your photo of the castle in the distance. Nice shots, lovely town.

  6. How fortunate you are to live in Windsor! I grew up in London and miss the little excursions we used to take here occasionally. Even now, when I cross the pond for a vacation, I like to visit Windsor if I can. Sorry to hear you will be moving out soon. … Thanks for visiting and following my blog “Eyes to Heart.” … Be well, Dorothy πŸ™‚

  11. Hi Emma – Lovely photos! We have been to Windsor a few years ago visiting Neil’s niece who got married there and lives above a Pub! Love Windsor, the Queen in a carriage on her way to the races, the guys all dressed up with top hats…
Thanks for visiting and liking my blog!

  14. Hi Emma,
Thanks for stopping by Writing Between the Lines. You have captured your neighborhood beautifully. I was only in Windsor once, at the end of a five week trip to England with a two and a six year old. They had been such angels that, when it came time to choose between Windsor Castle and Legoland, we decided to give them a totally kid-oriented day. That is the true measure of my maternal love and devotion, and the reason I have to go back! I don’t know what adventure you are on the verge of, but I certainly wish you a wonderful journey.
